4/22/2023 Dublin Pride Week

Dublin's Annual Pride week had a Volunteer Day on April 22nd, we met in Emerald Glen Park at 8:00am. We worked on the amphitheater, cleaning up the turf, moving and laying new turf down.

ABLE Canine's first event at Pet Food Express. Taking care of puppies, bringing attention to dog adoption, and holding and playing with puppies! 

3/24/2023 Mental House

ABLE successfully hosted a transformative mental health event at The Quarry Lane School, bringing together two prominent city council members and fire mental health experts. This initiative by ABLE aimed at championing mental health change and dispelling the stigma associated with discussing mental health issues within the educational setting. 

3/18/2023 St. Patrick’s Day Parade

ABLE was invited by the Mayor of Dublin, Melissa Hernandez Strah, to participate in Dublin's St. Patrick's Day Celebration for being recognized as the Organization of the Year for the volunteer recognition awards of Dublin city. The St. Patrick's day parade is the biggest event of the year, drawing crowds of up to 80,000 from all around the Bay Area.

In the Volunteer Recognition Event, the three nominees for each award (Citizen of the Year; Young Citizen of the Year; and Organization of the Year) are invited on stage, the winners are announced, and ABLE won the Organization of the Year for 2022!
